Beef Pie Recipe Preparation
Preparation Dough Mix the flour, salt and butter, add the water and mix until it’s a smooth texture. Let it sit for 30 minutes; then roll out into a circle. Filling Dice the meat. Sear in a pan with 2-3 tablespoons of oil, include the garlic, when half done pour out the juice. Add the crumbled bullion cube, wine and onions. Cover and let it cook until the meat is ready. On the side, fry the bacon and mushrooms. Add the meat; thicken with cornstarch dissolved in some water. Season with salt and pepper and take off the fire. Pass the mix to a baking pan, spread around the diced boiled eggs and potatoes, sprinkle with parsley. Cover with the dough, closing in the sides. Paint with the whipped eggs and prick with a fork to let out the steam while it cooks. Bake until the dough goldens. Ingredients Dough 150 gr flour 1 tspn salt 60 gr butter ½ cup water Filling 1 loin of veal Oil 1 garlic clove 1 bullion cube ½ cup white wine 1 minced onion 100 gr minced bacon 300 gr sliced mushrooms 1 tbspn cornstarch Salt & pepper 2 sliced hard boiled eggs 1 kg boiled potatoes Minced parsley 1 whipped egg
