Chicken Pie Recipe Preparation
Preparation Dice the chicken and sauté in a pot with the butter and oil, add the onions and garlic.Stir well and spice with, salt, pepper, nutmeg and thyme. Add the ham, mushrooms and wine. Cook for 10 minutes.Take the gravy out of the pot and mix with the flour, pour into the pot and stir for 1 min until it thickens. Add the dry apricots and peas, and mix well.Butter a medium size baking pan. Cover with rolled out dough, making sure it comes up till the edge. Pour in the chicken filling.Cover with a rolled out dough, pressing the edges lightly to seal the pie. Bake for 20-30 minutes. Ingredients 2 chicken breasts 30 gr butter 2 tbspn oil 1 large minced onion 1 minced garlic clove Salt, pepper, nutmeg, thyme 100 gr ham 200 gr sliced mushrooms ˝ cup white wine 1 tbspn flour 100 gr dry apricots 1 can of peas 2 discs of pie dough
