Curry Meat Pie Recipe Preparation
Preparation
Dough Dissolve the yeast in warm water and let it sit for 5 minutes.Mix the mash potatoes, yeast mix, flour, salt and curry. Let it sit for 20 minutes.
Filling Sauté the onions, celery, leek and tomatoes, add salt and pepper. In another pan, sauté the ground meat until its almost done, season with curry, sit and pepper. Mix the meat with the vegetables.
Sauce Beat the egg yolks, milk cream, a pinch of paprika, salt and pepper.
Butter a baking pan. Roll out the dough to cover the whole pan with a little left over on the sides. In the middle fill with the meat filling and cover with the sauce. Form boarders with the extra dough. Bake for 30 minutes.
Ingredients Dough 25 gr yeast ½ cup warm water 150 gr warm mash potatoes 250 gr flour ½ tspn salt 1 tspn curry
Filling 4 tbspn oil 1 minced onion 1 sliced celery 2 minced leeks 2 diced tomatoes Salt & pepper 300 gr ground beef 2 tspn curry
Sauce 2 yolks 1 egg ¾ cup milk cream Paprika
