Meat and Bean Casserole Recipe Preparation
Preparation
Boil the beans in a pot with the bullion cube until they are ready. Strain the beans and keep 1 cup of the cooking broth. In a pan heat the oil and fry the oil and onions. Take them out and in the same oil sear the meat and add the onions and garlic. Mix in the peas, tomatoes, spring onions and beans, season with salt, pepper and ground chili. Add the cooking broth and take to boiling point. Lower the flame and continue cooking at medium heat, with the top half off until the peas are ready. Before serving sprinkle the casserole with minced parsley.
Ingredients 300 gr red beans 1 meat bullion cube 3 tbspn olive oil 2 minced garlic cloves 1 sliced onion 1 kg diced beef 250 gr peas 2 diced tomatoes 3 sliced spring onions Salt, pepper & ground chili Minced parsley
