Pork Cabbage Rolls Recipe

Pork Cabbage Rolls Recipe Preparation

Preparation

Cut out the cabbage core, separate the leaves carefully and boil in water with salt until they soften.

Heat oil in a pan and place the bacon slices until they are crunchy. Take out and put aside.

In the leftover bacon oil; fry the onion and garlic. Add the diced livers and sauté for a minute. Let it cool.

Mix the ground pork, bread crumbs, minced parsley and other seasoning. Knead well.

Sprinkle the leaves with cumin, then spread some of the pork mix over each cabbage leaf, roll them up starting with the widest part and make sure they are sealed well.

Place the carrots on the bottom of a baking pan. Put the cabbage rolls over the carrots and cover with the bacon slices. Sprinkle with broth and cover the pan with aluminum foil.

Preheat the oven and bake for 1 hour, if there is extra gravy in the pan, add some cornstarch and serve it as sauce over the rolls.
