All About Me

We are all dreaming of being able to cook thirty minute Brownies in less than twenty minutes, don't we? Well, a few years ago I discovered the meaning of that statement and I am still trying to put it down on writing. It seem to me that we just cannot beat the clock yet. But on the other hand we are all trying to do just so. Now be more realistic, actually, being the number 4 of family of 9, I started to learn how to cook at a young age, I started with toast and eggs. It may look easy to you but even today I, on occasion still brake the egg and pock the egg's centre by accident.... so don't laugh I am not the only one doing so.

My Mom taught me to make most of what I did when I was a Kid but to be honest, I would have to say that I learned by watching people around me on the HOW TO COOK .

All cook will say "TRY AND TRY AGAIN" don't be nervous. The worse that can append is that it will not be as good as you would have like it to be.

You will see that everyday recipes are simple and easy recipes, I'll teach you method on how to do and you will love it.

Being a kid, as my career advanced to other things like cheese toast, fried eggs, fried Spam sandwiches, baloney, cheese, peanut butter and jelly etc. and all the easy things that I learned to love.

I often wondered what was the greatest thing before sliced bread. My next step was the discovery of canned soups, WOW by now I thought I was a great chef.

After many good and bad..... I figured I was ready for something more challenging so I went to an old recipe book and looked up beed rost. WOW... that was an experiance... I cut the WOW thin and It was called "back to start". OOPS one of many first disaster.

But as I approached my teens with the cocky attitude of most teens, I was ready for a full time job in an elite restaurant HAHAAAHAA little did I know.

I went to the spice rack and thought I would try a few spices, I tried cinnamon basil bologna sandwiches topped with cream cheese, Cayenne pepper oregano bananas with bay leaves, I used up half the spices in the pantry.

By the time I reached my twenties I had tried everything in every combination in the kitchen, actually it was fun, if pretty terrible. I discovered I should have stuck to the cook books.

The purpose of my web site is so you wont have to endure a lifetime of crummy food before you learn how to get along in the kitchen.

Actually cooking is very simple and learning how to cook is and can be fun.

When my oldest daughter wanted a hot dog cart that got me started in the restaurant business, I could not find a good location for her cart so I leased a closed up Dairy Queen in the outskirts of Buffalo N.Y. actually in North Tonawanda. The location was on Niagara Falls Boulevard just west of the Youngman Expressway.

During the next couple of years I opened four more.

Everything went great; eventually I sold off all the restaurants and moved back to Florida.

Retirement is nice but boring, so I opened another restaurant in Fort Lauderdale, Florida And operated it for a couple of years and sold it.

I love the restaurant business, but my wife said if I open another one she's leaving. I would really miss her so I'm being good and continue to cook and experiment at home.

Actually cooking is very simple and learning how to cook is and can be fun.

Enjoy the web site and if you ever need assistance dont call me, hahahaha.
